Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home (EBD)
Location: Hereford, HR1
Salary: £38,000 – £48,000 (dependent on experience)
We are looking for an experienced and committed Registered Manager to lead our established 4-bed Children’s Home supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
About the Role
As Registered Manager, you will:
- Provide consistent, supportive leadership to staff and young people.
- Ensure the home continues to meet all Ofsted regulations and achieves positive outcomes.
- Oversee safeguarding, care planning, and day-to-day operations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a strong, resilient staff team.
- Maintain a culture of safety, stability, and aspiration for children in our care.
About You
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Children and Young People (or working towards).
- Experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy in a children’s residential setting.
- Strong understanding of Ofsted standards and safeguarding responsibilities.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop staff teams.
- Passionate about making a lasting difference to young people’s lives.

Experience:
- managing residential childcare: 3 years (required)
Licence/Certification:
- UK Driving Licence (required)
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (preferred)
