Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, social workers, and other professionals.

  • Support young people to develop life skills and achieve their individual goals.

Requirements

Essential

  • Minimum 1 year of experience working within a residential childcare setting.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts where required.
  • Right to work in the United Kingdom.

Desirable

  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service.
  • Relevant qualifications in Residential Childcare, Health & Social Care, or Children & Young People's Workforce.

About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established client for an experienced and dedicated Registered Manager to lead a 3-bed Children's Residential Home supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

This is an excellent opportunity to join a fully operational, Ofsted-registered home with a stable and experienced staff team already in place. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining high standards of care and driving positive outcomes for children and young people.

Deputy Managers looking to progress into their first Registered Manager position are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the home.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, child-centred care.
