About the Opportunity
On behalf of our client, we are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead the opening and registration of a brand-new 4-bed Children’s Home supporting young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
This is an exciting opportunity for an established Registered Manager or an experienced Deputy Manager looking to take the next step in their career and play a key role in developing a new service from the ground up.

Our client operates several successful children’s homes, all rated Good or Outstanding, and has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality care and supporting the professional development of their staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the setup, registration, and opening of the new children’s home.
- Ensure full compliance with Ofsted regulations and relevant legislation.
- Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing care team.
- Promote positive outcomes for children and young people.
- Maintain exceptional standards of safeguarding, care planning, and quality assurance.
- Manage budgets, staffing, and operational performance effectively.
- Develop positive relationships with stakeholders, professionals, and local authorities.
Requirements
Essential
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards completion).
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare.
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager within an EBD children’s residential setting.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Ofsted regulations and quality standards.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom.
