Registered Manager – Children’s Residential Home
Location: Bradford BD9 6QN
Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 per annum (Negotiable DOE)
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time


About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly established children’s residential home during a period of growth and development. We are seeking an experienced Registered Manager who is passionate about leadership, mentoring staff, and creating a warm, nurturing environment where young people can thrive.

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of managing residential homes and will oversee all aspects of the home’s operations, ensuring the highest standards of care in line with Ofsted regulations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day management and operational delivery of the home
  • Ensure full compliance with Ofsted standards and regulatory requirements
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the staff team
  • Create a family-focused, therapeutic environment for young people
  • Promote a high-quality, stimulating, and educational setting
  • Drive continuous improvement and positive outcomes for children

Salary & Hours

  • £60,000 – £70,000 per annum (depending on experience, qualifications & training)
  • Salary negotiable for the right candidate
  • 37.5 hours per week – Monday to Friday
  • Flexibility may be considered

Minimum Requirements

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care and Children & Young People’s Services (or equivalent)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a managerial role within a childcare/residential setting
  • Strong leadership and staff development skills
  • In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations and compliance
